Yurema is one of the youngest porters. Not only does she work, but she also studies. Given her age, she is not able to receive support from her parents. So, she worked in different places before finding Alpaca Expeditions. Here she received training that was for all women who wanted to work the same jobs men did. At Alpaca, there is no gender discrimination, and men and women have equal opportunities. She worked with us for two years and is now studying culinary arts to be a cook.
